Don't do it. Sure this might seem like the opportunity of a life time and a can't lose proposition. But that's where you're wrong. Think about how bitter you can be for the rest of your life by not going for it. Always resenting people that did take a chance and made it, cursing the whole world and why didn't you take the chance when you could? You don't want to miss out on that.

Well I talked it over with all the involved parties, and they are not really looking for anything until the summer time. I am going to be giving my band one more push next semester since we now have a place to even host our own shows and also found a producer buddy of one of our guitarists who is helping us out big time with recording. Then when summer comes along I will be taking the opportunity if I don't have any movement. He assured me the opportunity wasn't going anywhere.

Do it now before life gets in the way.
There is a band locally that is starting to make waves. The guitarist and I are good friends and I would love to come play 2nd guitar for the band but unfortunately cannot commit to touring.
The reasons being that I'm getting up there in age. Have gotten married to a woman who cannot stand to be by herself.
I would love to just up and quit our jobs,...get rid of all this extraneous stuff and take the wife on tour with me,...but yeah,...that probably ain't gonna happen.

Well they simply just aren't looking until summer, sort of getting all their ducks in a row. I agree though, I have to make sure to keep myself completely available and pretty much put life on a commitmental stasis.

I haven't finished the peep show series yet,...but what I did see was awesome.
I loved that Mitchell and Webb look. Especially the Adventures of Sir Digby Chicken Ceasar.

If it were me I'd go with whichever let me make music that I thought was better. To me that is the biggest thing.
