spent the last 2 days copying over and anally retentively following a filing system for about 800 gigs of tv/movie video and 200 gigs of audio stuff. it's all on a shared network drive attached to a WD TV Live so i can run music through the 5.1 system and all the video through my tv. new receiver means everything's going hdmi so it's cleaner cable wise, an articulated arm mounting bracket is on it's way to get the 60 inch plasma off the table onto the wall, it's now a Blu Ray player, PS3, 360, Receiver, Modem and Router, WD TV interface and the sub in a close to the ground entertainment center, a laptop in the living room dedicated to being a torrent/web browsing machine that's easy to stash under the coffee table........
yeah. all that? nobody cares. it makes ME ridiculously happy. and i get to do a Near Permanent ReWire on my pedalboard when the Ciokolate ever gets here..... but stuff like that...... if i tell friends they just look at me like i really, REALLY need pussy. which, while might be true, isn't a binary situation.
what'cha'll got done did that people are not NEAR as impressed as they should be about it?

As a cable organization nerd I find this extremely sexy.
I am also preparing for a digital media re-org, and I'm not really looking forward to the act, but maaaaaan will I be stoked when that shit is all purdy and sorted.

I had 2 elder jedi in star wars galaxies before they made jedi a starter profession. One of them was Ithorian (I had 1 of 3 Ithorian elder jedi out of the entire MMO). Still something I bring up on date 1

It costs a lot in plastic so I dunno if i could get by with that large of a build, it takes about 25 hours for the complete build (this one messed up 85 % of the way through (thats why the top of the skull is exposed with pencils and shit). Maybe I could try to fuck up a build just enough to the point where its not sellable but looks pretty much fine.
