I read the title as a book for school girls. I wuz like whaaaaaaattoookay.

How really graphic is 50 Shades? I've never actually read any of it. I doubt its really all that bad.

Then again if it turns chicks on to being kinky sluts I'm down.

it's hilariously awful at how serious I think the author is trying to be. for example,

“I pull him deeper into my mouth so I can feel him at the back of my throat and then to the front again. My tongue swirls around the end. He’s my very own Christian Grey-flavored popsicle. I suck harder and harder … Hmm … My inner goddess is doing the merengue with some salsa moves.”

No way! Is that really part of the book?

I just browsed one of my favorite newssites and they ripped it apart for not really being about sm at all but actually about some rich dude that needs to be cracked by the right woman so that he learns how to love again. Yawn. But if it's written in that horrible style I wonder why anybody cares to rip it apart based on content. It would just suffice to put up a couple of quotes.

On the topic of Behndy writing about schoolgirls... I am afraid what would be IN that book. Afraid and excited. If you know what I mean by excited.

I bought it for my wife as a joke while we were on vacation, and she said it was terrible. Didn't stop her from reading the following 2 books in less than week.

Dunno why everyone is so harsh on a book series basically encouraging women to have more sex....

Because it's rubbish.

There isn't any sort of benefit that can make me get past it being garbage. It's something that should never have been published, because there shouldn't be anyone willing to read it.

I even consider it a turn off if a girl is reading that kind of nonsense.
