No offense, but all I can think about is my desire to punch Jamie Stewart in the face whenever Xiu Xiu is mentioned.
It's like I'm incapable of not hating him or his project.
I listen to many things when SAD because I'm always depressed and even upbeat (nay, BLISSFUL) songs can/do stir me emotionally (but not in a way that I'd call "blissful").
I used to listen to Bright Eyes a lot in high school, hawhaw.
I often turn out all the lights and curl up in bed and think about how I am always going to be alone and what being dead would be like while listening to these rockin' tunes (incense is optional but strongly advised to complete the EXPERIENCE, brah):
