DUDE. You're telling me. Longboarders suck. Self-righteous trustafarians chain smoking outside the library but yelling at people about how to properly dispose of something and are contributing more pollution due to their BO suck. Fucking frat bros at UVM. They suck too.

All that said, I miss Burlington so bad. I miss the culture. I want to drink all the great beers (SOMEONE GET ME A HEADY TOPPER, STAT) and climb a mountain and get free ice cream on Church Street and and and

But I'll be back up in the mountains in like a month and change.

So mayhaps I post you a four-pack at the opportune time?

the old ones were also called the 1959SLP. i haven't played the reissues of that, but i have had some experience with a couple of the reissue jcm 800's with the effects loop. a band i worked for rented a couple on a couple of different european tours that we did. i can't speak for the effects loop itself, as they didn't use it, but the amps themselves sounded great. i wouldn't be able to tell a difference probably between them and the originals. i was a little surprised actually. based on that, i would imagine that the super lead reissues are probably pretty good too.

The difference with grateful dead is that they were working on something with the counter culture. Not just resting easy and jamming out with some drugs like phish and other modern jam bands. Besides they played through this: Image
