I've never seen a Mad Max movie and I always fall asleep during action sequences so I'm unlikely to see this. That said, I keep hearing about it because people keep talking about it and it sounds very interesting.

doesn't make any sense to me based on what I've heard about the work they put into the stunts and effects. If they were just going for a money grab, it would have been cheapo cgi and The Rock would have been in it.
Just saying, it was directed by the same director of all the rest of the movies. Also, Immortan Joe is Toecutter. How could this be any more of a Mad Max movie?
I still haven't seen it because they recycled Hugh Keays-Byrne.
I stand by my position that if he comes back, it's as a frankensteined back together Toecutter.
TOECUTTER OR GTFO.
Also, I AM THE NIGHTRIDER!!!!
WWPD?

Exactly, being hit head on then ran over by an 18 wheeler isn't something you can come back from.
I'd like to check out the new one but wouldn't pay money to see it. Will probably just download it.
If you ever come down to Victoria to visit, we will go on a road trip and I'll take you to some of the locations of the original movie. Some of it has become housing estates but some good locations are still there and intact. Like the Halls of Justice and Johnny The Boy death location. Great place to sit and smoke some cones.
I went last sat to see it in Imax and in 3D over in new orleans. it was the 4th time I had seen it in the theaters.
Bought the blue ray today since I finally saw where it was on sale.
I'm working on my truck to make it a pursuit vehicle.
I thoughly enjoyed it as much as all the old movies.
Don't have any issue with anyone who doesn't like it cause that's their tastes, I just know I don't need to know them cause their tastes in things are vastly removed to where conversation isn't or won't ever be enjoyable.
