I am a Blooz Zombie. We differ from Blues Lawyers in that we are much slower and not as smart, but we will scramble your brains if given the chance. We are legion. In the spirit of Canned Heat and Blue Cheer we are here to reclaim our fuzz.

The ironic thing is that pretty much everyone here loves the blues and plays the blues but they pretend they don't because they think everyone else hates it and they don't want to appear to be uncool. It is sad really. It is like 2 guy friends or 2 girl friends being in love with each other their entire lives without saying anything because they fear rejection and potential societal backlash because of their preferences. In the end, it is only them that suffer.

I have no problem admitting my love for listening to or playing the blues.

No. Some of us are totally fine admitting that we have spent over ten years playing in blues bands as our main gigging format… but… you see it isn't fear of admitting we like blues but that we like good blues, not watered down soccer mom middle aged white dude with a fucking TS and a hat blues lame ass shit that the blues clubs and societies flock to so they can play the Oreo hydrox blues or some asinine suburban approved crap, meaning fuckEric Clapton and SRV, I want Freddie King and Skip James!
