Really? That's awesome man! haha...you just made my day! Might go back and get my phd...but I need something to occupy myself in the meantime...

I'm going to build stuff...what stuff, I don't know. Maybe pedals, maybe pedalboards, maybe guitars, maybe lawnmower repair? She just wants me to stay busy.

How all this relates to Seppuku? I was kind of inspired to find out about chips and bending and stuff because of these pedals. I dunno. We shall see.

She probably just wants me to stay off the message board, haha.

Build ring mods! :!!!: Or, you know, a version of the Miku-pedal that recites classic literature.

You're supposed to be able to put in your own lyrics into the Miku pedal. So technically yes, you can make your Miku sing classical literature.

Well, theres supposed to be. I guess it hasn't been released yet because I still haven't been able to find
Korg Miku Features Page wrote:A dedicated iPhone app makes it easy to enter lyrics

In addition to the internal preset lyric patterns, MIKU STOMP provides a user area that lets you vocalize any desired lyrics. Operation is easy; use the dedicated iPhone app to enter text data, load it via your guitar pickup, and then just play your guitar. Hatsune Miku will immediately start singing your original lyrics. The user area accommodates up to 6,000 characters (*), so you'll be able to enter an entire song worth of lyrics.
* Although this iPhone app can be used with an English system, MIKU STOMP's vocal functionality supports only Japanese. While it does not support input of English lyrics, it does support input of "romaji," the method of using the Latin alphabet to express Japanese. When entering Japanese directly, “hiragana” and “katakana” input are supported.

*This function is available in selected countries only.

My Miku would just say Yum or something until it froze! Oh Miku...I kinda miss running after random oscillations and a trem. That app sounds fun, but the random mode would probably do a better job at song writing than me.

If you get the link for the app from somebody in Japan (which is where I assume the region lock is) then you can probably get a proxy and download that and use it. We didn' that for cave's Dodonpaccin' when it came out. I can't remember exactly how we did it, but it was just basicually running sending the link through a Japan local server and it downloaded where ever. (and maybe they have fixed that with newer app store updates...this was on ios 6...damn, are they on 8 now? Is one coming out every 6 months or am I just getting old?)

Maybe ringmods...I have some ideas...don't know if I can pull them off. Tons of pedal ideas actually....

If you happen to live in Japan or plan on ordering a new guitar/bass from Ishibashi, be sure to grab this flawless ~$120 Mind Warp while you're at it. :animal:
