I keep trying to get my cello player friend that I see all the damn time to do something...but you know, ain't nobody got time for anything. My wife plays viola too. I dunno what the Ramones would sound like with those, but I am in!

jammed with a buddy and his violinist friend today (who apparently toured with chelsea wolf ) it started off sounding like godspeed with my rm-1n vs the violin through the oldbloodnoise, then my buddy laid down his riffs and it went into kayo dot territory totally caught me off guard. been hoping to find a project where I can just let loose on soundscapes and this seems to be it. wish I could have heard dat violin with fuzzzz

Yesterday I rocked LAL 86 into 88. Such a neat setup. Got some really fat suboctaves that tracked across the neck - instant Lightning Bolt vibes. And turning off the oscillations and using the volume knob, I got some really dirty, germanium-ish drive toanz. Awesome.

Still on hiatus. Got sober and in therapy for last couple years and getting on meds and changing meds has been a nightmare that hasn't left me in the right headspace for creativity, although making demos has been fun. I've been collecting new sounds and textures to work with though and that's been promising.

I'm really glad you are digging the 86. With the 88 adding some gate texture it is a blast!
