Re: Setup of the day thread?

Bored at work again, so more ppooll stuff. I'm actually really excited to try this out with a guitar input, instead of the sinewave input I used here. The whole thing is a bunch of beauty and beast acts feeding back into one another, which is neat, because they're feedback loops to begin with, so the whole thing is just looping around in itself. Maybe I should make a pedal feedback loop for input, to make it the feedbackiest feedback loop ever? The only thing is that it's _super_ reactive to tweaks to the beauty delays, which makes some really unpredictable shit come out sometimes. I suppose I like it being hard to control though.

Re: Setup of the day thread?
My current gas is for a blend control kit to fit to my self-made looper, so nothing much is likely to change for a while

Delaylab / Freeze / Baby Utter Stutter with an Ampeg Scrambler kit (in a Klon-style enclosure) in its loop / looper with Langtronics Bone Collector in its loop (so I can control the volume) / Idiotbox Mad Doctor Stutter / CT5
/ Subdecay Quantum Flanger / EHX Pitch Fork / Bit Quest
/ Rainbow Machine / Afterneath / Tonelab ST - plus a Tenori-On waiting for me to learn how to use it for beats and other madness.

Chain is Squier JMJM -> Afterneath -> Arion SAD-1 -> DL-8 -> ppooll
ppooll setup is pretty similar to the one from above, but with an in from the guitar going through a multitap and gverb instead of the sinus and sudden rabbit guest+jit2osc combo. I'm actually really liking how it came out, even though it was just me noodling about for a while. Almost a Fennesz vibe once it starts going. Levels/EQ probably leave something to be desired though, ended coming out a lot hotter than I had hoped, and I'm too lazy to screw with it too much.

A prettier Slash... Fuzz was maybe usable even on that Fender and I don't really like oct up so it was all about the Sub which tracks well but was overlill past about 8 or 9 o'clock on the dial... I still want it for giggles and Purple...

How was the HH Jazzmaster? "even on that Fender" doesn't sound glowing.

That Phlanger is awesomely vocal--outstanding, tubular!
