Its a dirty single repeat delay pedal, with what seems like enveloped pitch shifting. The power control controls the "stability" of the pitch shifting and if you crank it you can basically loose signal and make everything sound super fucked up. Delay time is like ~500ms max.

And when I say dirty its like your turning on an overdrive when you turn the pedal on, even on your dry signal.

Here you go, the DC-50 is set to Hall Exho on the verge of oscillation, the Steroid O.D. has the highs, lows and limiter on. I turn off the DC-50 then the rest of the pedals in order, camera set up wasn't best. I had to turn the overall volume down because the bass was resonating on certain notes in the beautifullest way.

Squier JMJM -> Afterneath -> DL-8 -> real simple ppooll setup

Edit: And since I really love ppooll's beauty act, I whipped up another ppooll thing and fed the recording back through. A lot more noisy, but I think I like this one better.
Cool stuff Dude :joy:
Blue Strat - Jazzmascis - Tele.
Fender - Squier.
Dr. Scientist - Dirge - FuzzHugger - Montreal Assembly - Hypnodrone.

Thanks guys, I was really zoning out and finding notes that would resonate in an awesome colorful way, part of it was the DC-50 set on the brink of oscillstion and the other was the gristleizer and how awesome it is. LG I'm really disappointed that I didnt pick up the Steroid O.D. earlier. For some reason I thought it was an overdrive but it's not at all. I love how unsubtle the boosting is, can really push out frequencies when creating soundscapes. I need to spend more time with it and stacking cause it seems like that is going to get the most out of it. I also really like how it has that lAL house sound to the gain too.

Yea, I find it really hard to describe as you could probably tell from the descriptions I sent, haha. It's something different and kinda overdrive-y but the little boosts and limiting circuit is really nice. It's really made for stacking though. I really like how the treble boost helps clairty on some setups (and I could hear that a bit too in your clip). Glad you picked it up man. Thunder Boxx is amazing too.

Keep up the awesomeness, UG.

Thanks
I was surprised that the boosting of the bass and treble from the Steroid was as pronounced even with the Thunder Box already boosting those frequencies...the highs and low boost on the Devil Tail don't make as much of a sonic difference in comparison. I should have known the Steriod would be over the top. Great pedal, too bad it's discontinued now.
