Re: Effector 13 Is Back
Still making video games.
Making pedals.
As far as I know not trying to overlap with Dwarf-devi. I know some stuff about the contract on her and her thoughts but I do not want to share that, its between the Dwarfcraft crew and her, none of my business. It would be ridiculously difficult to compete with what dwarfcraft has done with the line.
She mentioned doing limited runs of unique fuzzes at a time. Nothing full scale. More focusing on the "special curiosity" vibe E13 originally had. She honestly just told me she misses building pedals and experimenting and fucking with circuits.

I hope that's not the case and she's coming out with something completely new non owned by another company.

Precisely! We have a law of conservation of drama around here! Whenever dramz levels go down overall, something in the ILFosphere has to happen to bring them up to normal levels! It's simple internet physics!jwar wrote:hahahahahaChankgeez wrote:I'm blaming jwar. Thanks, jwar.
Dude, has anyone noticed I've simmered down a lot??? I have...I hope you have.![]()

Find an attorney who will write a cease & desist letter for pedals? (Would be easier to find one if you were in the transparent overdrive business, but still possible.)

jk. I kind of hate lawyers and I super hate the idea of dealing with this for longer than is absolutely necessary.
There isn't anything to gain for us by furthering the drama she engages in. We already have a company that we love dearly. There is no doubt in my mind this stunt will be damaging to us financially, but I would rather lose some money than sink to her level.

She had that huge meltdown with Notch. Not sure the videogame industry is going to be very receptive to her much...

Re: Effector 13 Is Back
I don't get this. If she is missing messing about with pedals then why can't she do it on her own dime like thousands of other people? Why does it have to be a business? Even if it is legal (I ain't no lawyer) it definitely goes against the spirit of the agreement. It just seems pretty shitty to me.
