Pretty Bummed, made my daughter listen to Old BB King all the way to school.

BB King was a big part of the reason I started playing guitar as a kid.

Me and a buddy were at the Darkglass event last night at the Gibson artist relations studio in NYC..
We're looking up at this huge awesome wall mural of a very young BB King and said "damn, he's still going strong at his age..."

Then we find out he died pretty much around that same time. Spooky and sad :(

Master showman. Slight personal detour from the rightful tribute to the-man-the-music, but his 89 year run with quite a large portion of the tail end under the baleful moon of diabetes gives me hope for my daughter. Thanks BB for all the inspiration on stage and off.

I'll be the first to say that I have no idea who BB King is. I've heard the name, but I don't know his stuff.

RIP anyways. Always sad when a legend dies. Even if I had no idea who he was.
