yeah its not really a clean blend, its really a diode clipping blend. with big muff type clipping. so as communarchy described very accurately, it adds more clarity and dynamics (and cuts some fuzz out)

The wizard fountain is your most highly underrated pedal. I LOVE IT. It was weird, I got it off a trade for something...I can't even remember what, and it was probably the best trade I've ever made.

Blending in a clean signal is great for bass, but imo it usually just sounds weird for guitar. So I think you see that feature more on fuzzes meant to be used almost specifically for bass (especially if we're talking a fuzz with 2-3 controls...a pedal with 5+ knobs can get away with it since there are plenty of other knobs for guitarists to tweak). Just my assessment! :)


I've found it's great for chords with an acoustic guitar as well. :love:
