Pretty sure that's one of those new acoustic heads from when guitar center bought the brand and tried to revive it. In which case it is a total piece of shit. Not worth much more than a doorstop. That cabinet is awesome though. I had one of those many years ago that I used as a guitar cab. Sounded great.

ha maybe I might be spoiled but hell. my recording rig for bass has always been an ampeg classic 810. And I mean for every band not just for recording myself. played at concert level. earlier with an Ampeg SVT something and later with the Ampeg B4R

You would probably piss yourself laughing if I told you what I use to record bass through. But if I had a huge doom rig it would rattle the walls in this old shack and my tracks would sound shitty. As it is I have to pack a few pillows behind it to stop the rattle and it's only 100w solid state combo with a single 15. Not very doom but I can get some decent sound with it at medium volume.

Well as long as you got what you need from it. and what's really funny is my first recordings that I did in a studio wasn't for doom or even ultra heavy. It was for my skramz band.

LOL well the second part is true. However that "tube" is a capacitor and I'd hate to see someone try to pop it out to put a new tube in. ZAPPP
