1) It can't happen on the current version, but the plan for future versions is stereo input/output jacks and a way to choose whether it's stereo or mono with an effects loop.

haha its nothing crazy, i forget who was my giftee but it was i *think* ifss 2012? they posted a pic i think but i don't have it documented, it looks the same as gb24. it was just a simple bit crusher and the knobs are i think mix, resoluition, sampling rate and lfo rate. The lfo just modulates the sampling rate. IT's very simple, not something with tons of modes or whatever like wsou, but maybe fun for some people in a kit etc...

Here's me playing around with the ct5 when I first got it. Nothing too fancy, but you can do some cool ambient stuff with it. It is a fairly hissy when you go full wet though. Just 4 notes, going through a tape delay and a long hall. 0 time spent dialing in the other effects. Loving the pedal.

I don't mind about the effects loop too much but a dedicated switch to toggle between quantize modes would be really great and having both a wet and dry volume would be the most useful upgrade you can do on the CT5 in my opinion since it tends to be quite loud and at times overpowering in the higher frequencies / registers.
Another feature I'd really dig is some kind of lofi filter toggle to make it sound more like the GB24.
Just curious, would there be a way to hack the separate wet / dry and lofi filter toggle into the current CT5?

The mix knob is just 2 volume knobs stacked, so if you rehoused the pedal and removed this pot you could just use 2 pots that aren't ganged together.

You can probably just reduce the resolution in the firmware to make it sound more like the gb24, but i don;t know if that is something i will release for the current version of the board.

To clarify, if the mix knob is 2 stacked volume knobs, are they for the separate wet and dry signals? If so, could I (in theory) disconnect the wet signal from the knob, send that out to send/receive jack, and then run it back to the mix knob?

yes it is just like a 2 channel mixer. one channel is the wet, one channel is the clean.

you could run the loop on the "ring" of the ts input/output since they are unused and the get TRS to TS Y cables. that would be the least work i think. to be clear this wont put anything in the feedback path, it will just let you have other effects in serial after eeh ct5 in the wet side of the mix knob. the feedback is closed within the dsp, tehre is noo way to access it on this revision.

Nice - I was thinking about putting the loop in place of the expression jack but your suggestion is even better. And that's exactly what I was looking for (additional wet-only processing after the feedback path).

at first i was reading this as ehx Ring ThinG because i really want one, but you mean Random Tone Generator? could be good too.

ya it should work. if you ant more specifics you can email, me but you would just have to cut some traces and then add some wires. warning though the board is almost entirely smt so on the send you will have to attach a wire to a small smd resistor (not that small though, 0805), the return you could just attach to the through hole pot lug.
