Laney discontinued the LC series recently, no other shops have dropped prices yet but musicians friend dropped the price on the LC30 to $300 and has scratch/dent models for around $200. Maybe the lc15 will price drop soon too?

Well, I ordered them...let's wait an see. I am going to have limited access to the internet after tonight, but I will try and update you all with how it went.

They are officially ordered. Let's see if the DPM-2 and Pitch Monster actually ship. I'll believe it when I see them though.

I'd be surprised if Japanese people tried to dick you down. Unless you just get screwed over by mysterious forces when it comes to Seppuku?

That's about right. I really miss mine. It was the same color but had the different pickups. Loved it so much.

Nah, its just some shops will cancel the order when they see a purchasing agent as their buyer. I think they view it as a hastle and would rather deal face to face. People in jp use purchasing agents too (I guess to pick stuff up at local shops for them or something?). There was also this excuse going around last year where video game orders got canceled because of "weather". Long story...basically sellers knew where a copy/system was to buy in cash and sold it before having it (they were always gracious and very good at refunds...but it got old). I waited 6 months for an xbox360 ntscj even though I the store listed having more than 10. Anyway, I was just thinking this shop, in particular, would cancel.

That and Seppuku stuff always seems to be around, just like on step ahead, you know? Haha

Then there was that Cave Shooting Collection run around (which was amazon jp and caves fault...oh, the seller screwed people out of some money too).

Honestly, though, Japanese people have been some of the friendliest, best people I have dealt with. Retailers/sellers actually care about packaging/presentation and show a lot of respect to their customers. Its pretty awesome.

That's about right. I really miss mine. It was the same color but had the different pickups, a 3 way switch, and three pots (one was a push pull switch to make the two back single coils into a humbucker). Loved it so much.

get the LC30-II, the updated version of the LC30. i've got one. warm, loud, bullet proof. iommi is a laney man, ask him.
you get a hell of a lot of amp for the money.
