I did it with my Superego and it just squealed in an uninteresting way. It didn't seem to matter what the frozen sound was, it was just a screech.

Re: Anyone ever run a Freeze in a feedback loop?
Ok, so I decided to see what happened -- please pardon the bad iphone recording. This was just a few chords played and frozen on top of each other, and then I let it drone:
Guitar into channel 1 on mixer > aux send to Freeze > Freeze out into channel 2 > channel aux send back to Freeze > Main out to amp. I was surprised at how much it modulated itself as it droned, and interacting with mixer was much less chaotic (and in this case much more musical and usable) than typical feedback loop mayhem. Now to come up with a way to make this happen in a single tidy enclosure.
I'll have to try to dig up my camera to get a video demo for better illustration of how it builds up...

I used to put my freeze in the feedback loop of my old Skreddy Echo.
I made a video. Let me see if I can properly post the embedded thingy.
