They don't say which model it is. Price is great if it's Civil War or green. These were my main fuzz for years. The hype is semi-justified as they sound pretty cool and the clones don't seem to sound the same as the good ones. On the other hand, they were pieces of shit. The bigger the show the more mine wanted to crap out.

Fix'd... Definitely worth finding out which version, but Black Russians can be had for a hundo all day erry day...

Not overpriced here in Australia. We get arsefucked hard for gear. No lube either. But yeah I've seen them on evilbay for about $120. I saw a minty for sale the other month in BST for $100, but it was CONUS only. I wanted it.

I like buying the broken russian muffs that aren't broken. You'd be suprised how many people don't see that the jack placement is reversed.
I've realised that vague big muff ads are always worth checking into. Just last week I scored a marveltone distortion sustainer for $75. Unfortunately for the seller he had no idea what the pedal was, and could of sold it to some david gilmour fanboy for well over a grand.
Now this schlup is stacking at rat into the damn thing and couldn't be happier. Probably sell my dope priest soon.
misterstomach wrote:Not necessarily. I found a first edition civil war muff with the green sides on cl a couple of years ago for $110. It happens. Worth checking into.
That's a dang good deal! So yeah, always worth checking...

Hit it. Hit it hard.
Or let me Paypal you the money to buy it and send it to me...
I've got 3 kids with me, no backup and I'm swamped at work. Otherwise, I'd get it right now. It's literally the worst week in months for me to deal with music sh*t. If I get a chance I'll try to get it tomorrow, and pass it along. If not, I'm gonna have to let it pass me by. On a personal level, I've been there & done that with the Russian Muffs cuz I'm from the 90s.

Word to that... life comes first, I just got off a 2-week stretch where I think I was only home to sleep a few hours a night, if that (stupid buildouts)...
A bubble font goes for $200-$275 on eBay, although a lot of people try to get more. Civil War is ridiculous. The best sounding Muff I've ever played: black, late 90s. But for most of the 90s I played a bubble font. Actually, it was probably a tall font because I got it in 93
