All analog, up to 900 ms delay time, a short-into-long washy delay mode, modulation, and self-oscillates. Downsides are it's ugly as sins and some will despise side jacks and top 9v jack.
And today it's the Trike Fuzz from the same series, half off at $69.99. Does three modes: octave up, one and two octaves down, and all three octaves. People seem to review it well. Maybe this series aren't selling because of the cosmetics?

Yea I remember when they first came out, everyone's instant complaint was the looks. Seems to sound pretty good though, and I bet it would look cool sanded down. More like a space device, less like a toy, lol.

Thank you...exactly what I have been looking for since my last tap echo deal fell through!
Did you win it? Seems it went for a very reasonable price.
Yea, should be here Monday. Thanks for the heads up. I don't think these were ever in production but I don't know if there is an Evans that is exactly the same. Can't find info on the maxon side at least. Going to keep digging.

I should really fix my multivox tape echo someday.

:!!!:

Became aware of it because it was featured in the Effects Database newsletter. The guy who sold it apparently worked for Ibanez in the seventies or something? Looks cool. Demos/clips plz.

Looking at estecho, it seems like some kind of prototype or continuation of the Evans ES-5 Super Echo. The more I look at it, the more it just looks like a case redesign. Still cool. The plate has no serial or anything. It looks like the head slides to change delay time and there is a motor speed control knob inside the lid. http://www.estecho.com/gear/Evans_ES-5.php. Will do on the demos. I have a backlog of those to do...

This is the one I'm procrastinating on restoring: http://www.estecho.com/gear/Evans_SE-780.php mines a multivox though. Have a univox ec100 that is real clean around here too but I got angry at rewinding the tape and feel bad about killing a playtape with my attempt at Subhumans riffs. Unless its the Eagles or Doobie Brs or something.

Here's one for UG...an oil can delay owned by the guy that designed it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271815161065.

Found out I've been on eBay for 13 years. Its kinda sad.

That's pretty cool looking, if I had any skill repairing I'd be all over it  Luckily I have my Morley oil can.

It is. The sale is $280, and the usual every day is $400 on that model. They have done this sale price before, though. This is the channel switcher with a crunchy rhythm channel and high gain lead channel. Mods to make it essentially a baby Soldano SLO are pretty easy and easily available on the webs. Not the friendliest amp for fuzz pedals, though.
