Been wanting the extra functions from the maximal drone a while now.... I love how his drone machines aren't as squarewave-y as others are. Or maybe they are (don't know jack about synths), but they feel more suitable for ambient stuff than other stuff in similar price range.

If you click back through that link, I did a much longer and more ambient piece that definitely showcases that. I'd agree for sure, there's much less harshness than other drone specific boxes I've played with. It makes them much easier to work into stuff with other instruments. I would recommend the shit out of the Maximal drone. I really want a minimal drone to chain with it honestly.

Got an hour with the entire house to myself.... Got to finally crank the Shiv with the master volume wide open. Oh man, so good, so good, so good.
Ran the Meet Maude into it, with the Jazzmaster. Instant gaze toanz.
