I've been smoking it since 1984 and am too scared to try calculate how much I've money's worth of black shit I've coughed up out of my lungs in that time. Not to mention the 20 or so years of heroin addiction. I could of probably financed a small army and overthrew our government with the money I've blown.

For real though, I'm glad you managed to get out of that situation. Not more than two months ago one of my best friends from Bergen got locked up in the looney bin after extensive smack use mixed with some other stuff and an already sketchy psyche. I talked to him on the phone a few days later and it was like talking to a stranger. Plus, he's lost everything he owned to it; his crib, his guitars, his girlfriend, his friends, his family, and has massive debt to people who are not very understanding, Not cool.

Thanks Dude Yeah about 7 years ago the missus and her family locked me up in a garage for two weeks looking after me in shifts and got me out of it. I owe my life to them. Tried the methadone way and it didn't work. It works for some people. Cold turkey is the only way. It's fucking hell on earth but at least it worked. I still smoke weed and probably always will. But thats not going to kill me. That sucks to hear about your friend. Hope he'll be ok in the end.

My dad was in it but he's managing, I'm sure I'm a bit loony too but I'm managing, fortunately not in the loony bin.
Woah on the dope money though, I don't think I've ever had that much money in my life.
