added since then: Marshall JCM800 2203KK with the KT88's
Oh shit, another doombro from the hcfx days! Such a rad pile of amps you've got there.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but you're in These Mountains are Ghosts, yeah? If so I need English deets on that new album
Yeah that's me . It's gonna be on iTunes and Spotify etc so you can check it out there while we figure out the international shipping for the vinyl.

Thanks dude! Well it's basically a bone stock 2203 but with KT88's so a bit more "squishy" when you crank it. I tried it against an 80ies 2203 and to my ears they sound identical at low volumes.
The Beast mode is just your typical hi gain trash metal overdrive with an eq and a noise gate. I never use it.

They are a lot like a super lead. It's basically a poor man's Marshall from the 70ies, made in Holland with Philips Hi-fi transformers. It sounds a lot more scooped than a Marshall tho, especially when you bridge the inputs.
We used it with a Malekko Sloika and an EQD palisades for one of the rhythm sounds on the new record. I'll post some clips soon.

Nice! I'm constantly tempted by those effing CR120s.
after all the recent purchases...this is it for now...till the silverburst project is finished...but i suspect, no much is going to change with this set up for a while.
