Ebay and returns

Post by Faldoe »

I bought a Magsafe charger for my MBP. The thing failed after 3 weeks. I opened a return request and looking at the request on Ebay. The status of the return says it is closed and that "This return was completed on Feb 9th, 2015." I haven't received any other info like a message with a return address, etc. so I'm not sure what to do next.

Any thoughts?

How do you go about filing a dispute?

So go to your account activity, find that particular transaction, then click it. When it opens up look at the very bottom there is a "click here to resolve" link in blue. Just click that sucker and follow the instructions.

I would first contact them and give them one last chance, but that's up to you. They have a certain amount of time to respond to the dispute and if they don't, you will be refunded. Ebay and Paypal don't fuck around with this shit.

Also, you now have 6 months to file a dispute as a buyer, so you're good on time.

Everything is worked out. The seller responded but they muddled their response in with my message I had sent them - like if you quote someone here on the forum and mistakenly writer your response within their quoted text.

So I sent it back. All is well. Thanks.
