Jaymes and Joseph's big day out!

Today PetZounds and I met up for lunch, and it turned into a GRAND ADVENTURE!

After we grabbed pizza at Crooked Crust, we went to the local mall because I saw some GoPro knockoffs for stupid cheap ($2) the other day, and I wanted to go buy all of them. Much to my dismay, they were all gone (why didn't I buy them), so instead we went to Ross because they always have cool cheap shit. There, I bought two ties. Then we went to Hot Topic (much to Joe's dismay), and I picked up Millencolin's Pennybridge Pioneers on vinyl for $10. THEN we stood in this used video game store for like twenty minutes just talking to about Nintendo 64 and talking to the staff about video games. Next to it is a Lego store, where Joseph made a minifig from his youth or something. I didn't have Legos growing up, so I don't have as much nostalgia as he does. I was more of a Hot Wheels guy.

Anyway, after that we went to Barnes and Noble, found nothing good, went to the the Dollar Tree where I got a Bartman figurine and a Butterfingers (how could I not?) before heading to Men's Wearhouse to pick up some suits I got tailored (I'll be a working stiff soon), and then to Joe's place so he can take a nap.

The important thing is that I wore my FUCK MIDS shirt that I got from hclapp for 2012 ILFMAS! One guy asked me about it at Hot Topic, and I had to explain its not a reference to marijuana. I don't smoke, so I don't know, but I've heard mids aren't great, so yeah, fuck those mids, too!

We also saw a crazy ass car that had no drag to it, or something. I'll post pictures soon. I realize I took quite a few pictures, BUT NONE OF OURSELVES. So I have no proof that this big day out happened, but I promise it did!

We had a day too...

After we jammed and hung out and make loud fuzzies (I'm GASing for a baritone guitar and a Buzzaround and a Sunn amp even harder), we went outside to to beat the crap out of each other, and then made up, and then had some beers. So it was a very good day. Afterwards I had amazing BBQ with family and saw The Fall of Troy for the third night in a row.






Also, fun fact: Soni's mailbox is purple, as is everything in his house. He claims that it was like that when he moved in, but I don't believe him.

I try to downplay how fancy my Mazda is, but yeah there's a shower in it. That's where I do a lot of shower beers. I don't condone drinking and driving, obviously, but if you park in a parking lot then have at it! And you know, sometimes you pick up a beer that you just can't wait to shower with, so you just do it in your car.

It was a tight fit for me and PetZounds, but we made it work. Soni, you'll have to get in on the action some time!
