I was robbed at gunpoint once. Gun about 4 inches from my face. When I only had a single dollar bill to give I was sure I'd soon have a bullet rattling around my skull.

Closest I ever came to a near death experience was when I mixed Demerol, vodka, and blow at age 20. Things seemed rather iffy until I actually arrived at the hospital. I was wearing short sleeves in February with my shirt unbuttoned because I was having hot flashes and sweating out chemical death. That night was a hoot. I cursed at a deputy sheriff, and my friend actually passed out on the hospital floor. The nurses were a bit confused as to who the actual patient was. I'm glad I'm not an idiot anymore

Don't think I've been very close to actually dying, but have had similar experiences in dissociative states. LSD+Iso tank was geometric disembodiment. K-hole was pure, beautiful chaos. 5-MeO-DMT was static and confusion. Nitrous Oxide was more like a winding down of all existence. In all, I became the act of observation, rather than a thing acting upon other things. The commonality between them was that the fundamental sine waves of the universe all became exposed, and the cliche concept that "all is one" was apparent. I expect death to be somewhere in the same realm. Consciousness breaks down into waves, and ripples apart like a drop in a pond. You are absorbed by the pond, and also become the pond because it is the same thing as you - sine waves in a chaotic system. That's a whole lot of hooey though, and language can only every fall short of explaining experience.

Which kind of incense do you guys like? :whateva:

When I was 11 my parents got a call from the hospital saying that they had to bring me in right away. When we got there they were told that I had leukemia. I was in the hospital for two days with my parents crying at my bedpost. Turns out they got the blood test results mixed up and that I was perfectly fine. Those two days were so confusing and terrifying. I still think of that kid who might have felt ill and was told there was nothing wrong with him... gut-wrenching.

In hindsight my parents should have sued their asses for causing us all mental distress, but I guess they were too busy being joyous of my good health. Still, think of the gear one could get with that kind of money.

I went to a rave, and was dressed up as Link and for the whites he has underneath the tunic I wore long johns. So I ate a shit ton of ecstasy, and sweated my ass off. Then I really wanted to see what Diplo was actually doing during his set, so I worked my way to the front and was just crammed as heck by hot sweaty people and I was all super sweaty from the drugs, vodka, and long johns. Halfway through Diplo's set my legs started giving out and I got really shakey, and then I started thinking to myself how all those lame ass people die from getting dehydrated from ecstasy. But I thought I'd know before it got TOO BAD and would go to the water fountain before I could die, haha. Anyways at the end of the night I could barely stand and move my hands. And my body was super tight, like I looked jacked. It was awesome. But didn't die, not sure if I would of but man that would've been stupid as heck. Who dies at a rave? haha.

I like how the near death experiences here are all from inebriation.

besides usual car bullshit with deathly things i also tend to fall for dangerous hot girls. like hot and dangerous. the amount of deathly situations ive been in isnt even funny. and they can all be traced back to females. except the few occasional situations my dad got me into (whats family for if not to share scary ass life situations.) well anyways really the only times ive been super shook up have been the bullshit car altercations. whenever ive had crazy car situations while traveling, sometimes ive needed a day to recoop. trucks scare the shit out of me, esp when they are running over your hood.

Well my first one was more of a contemplation of life. I was like, 5-6. I knew that when bees poke ur tong, you die cuz it inflates. Well I was big for firecrackers and I experimented a lot (mostly safe things). Once I took a tube and a small one (the ones that come connected to one fuse, like the chinese rapid-fire ones; but only one, lit it, and tried to blow it in the air through the tube. It exploded before I got it out and the air/explosion hit my tong. It was painful. I remember really vividly how I was crying and how I was so happy that I was living and how beautiful everything was (looking at a view of a huge grassy yard and a forest on a nice day), combined with an emotion of extreme angst, sadness cuz I "have to go" and kinda trying to cope with it all. At one moment everything became kinda shiny (there was, btw, nothing wrong with me, I was just convinced my tong would bloat and make me suffocate) and like, bloom effects all over the place. Pretty trippy. After a bit, somehow I knew everything is going to be fine, some sense of pervading peace went through me. Like someone was there with me. I had to calm my dad when he took me to the hospital, cuz my tong was bleeding anw.

Along to that, I've had 20+ DMT breakthroughs. All in all I consider life pretty trippy as it is. It's all like an under-layer of the life-happening, and it's like, "the big secret you can never really share", you can just talk about it and seem weird to everyone else

me and my friend were exiting a parking lot and I sarcastically said "are you TRYING to hit that family?"

and he immediately slammed on his breaks

we were like two inches away from killing a family of four, the mom had to go and sit on the curb and cry for a while

and all that saved em was my sarcastic fuckin remark

I always point out people on the road whenever I'm in a car now. it pisses people off sometimes but whatever

I didn't know I was allergic to amoxicillin. I took the amoxicillin that I was prescribed. Hospital fun time.

I usually hate this discussion because everyone else seems to have badass stories of tiger fights and burning buildings and I'm like "antibiotics".

hahaha, you jokers! I didn't think anyone on here was doing 5meo-dmt, crazy...

anyway, was getting my wisdom teeth taken out and I WOKE UP during the surgery. I kept my eyes closed because I was afraid the doctors would freak out, and I heard them say 'oh shit he's going flatline!'. Then I heard that sickening constant TONE that the heart monitor makes when your heart stops. Then I heard them yelling 'Atropine!', they shot me up with that and I guess my ticker got back to work. Closest I've had to a NDE. But the k-hole will be pretty close too.
so much gear...
