Devi Ever 90

Post by tuj »

hi all:

I just got this pedal new and I like it alright, but I wish there were a few more controls. You know how the Boss-MT2 has a parametric thing that lets you adjust at what frequency the distortion takes place? I feel like this pedal could really use that. As it comes, I feel like it is voiced a bit too mid-range for my taste and really let's you down on the bass.

any chance a mod could be done? The basic tone is pretty cool.

The EQ alone from the MT2 is like 3x the parts count of the 90. Just try adding a big muff style tone control (for the mid scoop), or something similar. I'd be glad to do it for you if you can not.

That sounds great, could you do it for me please?

BTW, I guess what I was talking about was the sweepable mid-frequency on the MT-2, very useful to get the type of distortion one desires for their type of playing.

The 90 is pretty much the anti-bass. I would certainly encourage anyone to swap out caps to let some bass in and out of that pedal, but we're not really doing any modding or custom work right now.
