sold for $700
has to be shenanigans,right?
Yeah, I saw something like that happen with a couple of them.
I don't think it sold... did it? It just said auction has ended.

If it sold for $700 I'm taking mine in for service today and flipping the fuck out of it. Doom Room deal, $600 with free shipping.

Certainly not that anyone here would bite at $600, but I'd bet there's more than one person who would pay that right now, if not more.

I'd even say that in a couple/few years, that $1200 price gouge might not be too far off the mark. Lame, but welcome to supply/demand.

Looks like it did sell for $700:

poop.

Chalk it up to all the hipsters buying up tr00 doom gear and driving prices up. I'm gonna make out like a bandit in 2 years when the hipsters drop doom like yesterday's news all all their Sunns and Oranges and fuzz pedals are clogging up reverb.com.

Start stocking up on Triple Rectumfriers now so you can flip those for mad dollars to all the hipsters dumping their Concert Leads.

Shitmetal has to be the next hipster trend, right?

Those old 2 channel triple rec's do sound fucking amazing though. The second guitarist in my band has one through a mesa cab and its fucking grizzly. It doesn't cut like the main guitarists 6505+, but its definitely thicker and fuller.

Yeah I love those 2ch dual recs. I've GAS'd for one of them for over a fucking decade now.
As you guys have noted though, they can so easily sound like gross, scab-laden, shit encrusted, bat wing labia of awfulness in the wrong hands, though.
That Sunn price is balls.
To be honest though, if you told me you could sell and post one to Oz for $600 all up I'd jump on that. That seems fair to me.

Also there are currently 4 other beta leads up on ebay at this exact moment at 250-300 range. No way someone just passed all that by to purchase that at 700 bucks.
