So top mounted jacks. Then your cable has to go all the way around your board and has to half loop to come back at a weird angle to your board and waste like an ass length of cable.

Side jacks. Quarter loop to get there.

Bottom jacks. They just go straight in.

I dunno I tend to disagree anymore. I've found lately that people on Talkbass are pretty pleasant in the FX forum. I wouldn't say either is better. Yeah. That will be the end of TB for me. It's inconvenient getting my laptop out to get on here or navigating through a cumbersome mobile site thing....but worth it. Not at all on there.
