I've only jumped on the dirt cheap MIC bandwagon in the last couple of months, but so far everything has been a winner. The Donner and Monoprice delays are no brainers for, well, anybody. The Moen TB loop is better built, lower priced, and faster to arrive than anything else out there - short of actually DIY. I've got a Monoprice Flanger sitting on my desk, probably gonna be equally killer...
Anyway.

That's dope, dude! Cheap pedals that get the job done are awesome. I need to explore the low-budget market more. The Digital Water without the digital water was a wake-up call for sure.
SO! Looks like I'll have time to do a demo or two tomorrow. Any wishes?
Pedals I have yet to demo:
Dr.Sci BitQuest - Dirty side
Dirge Soda Meiser
Montreal Assembly WSOU
Red Panda Context
Dwarfcraft Secret Destroyer (TGD w/extra gain stage)
Seppuku Memory Loss
Seppuku EcoMod-3

EcoMod-3 it is! Since I'm lazy I'll just copy my YT description:
First clips are filmed with a Warmoth strat (fat 50s in neck combined with SD SSL-5 in bridge) tuned down half a step, through a VOX AC30. Last clips are with a Fender TC72 with Lollars (Special T in bridge) in standard tuning through a shitty Marshall combo. The fuzz is a Dirge Soda Meiser clone. I hope you enjoy

Thanks for the demo! It has the typical Seppuku-WTF-sound - really cool.

Nice, that sound great!!!
Now I know exactly how my Tele with Lollar Regal and Special-T would sound with that pedal.

How sweet! Any idea what specifically the buttons are doing? Can't really tell from the demo, although, I hear something. Some of it reminds me of the No Memory, but different sounds sonically.

$53 now on Amazon. I've bought too many digital delays lately, but reversing that bend . . . FSM help me!UglyCasanova wrote:I think that's been established![]()
And might I say, the delay is surprisingly good with both the "water weight" and "water flow" knobs turned all the way down too. I really wouldn't think it was a $65 delay. If I was short on cash and in need of a delay, I'd give the NUX a go, no doubt. Last clip in the demo is just the NUX.
Definitely interested in any guts of any Seppuku pedals or mods.

Thanks, fellas!
I thiiiiink I was only in bridge position in those clips. Could have been middle with neck volume rolled back.
I can't even read what it says above the bottons, haha.

Elastive? Blastmode? Wet2mix?
There was no manual. The only Seppuku pedal that came with a manual was ironically enough the digital water...

Np, dude. I can't wait to hear what you make and think of it!Uncle Grandfather wrote:Thanks, now I'm really gassin For mine to get here whenever that hopefully isSounds real interesting at 7 min in
Yeah, I couldn't agree more. As I think UG has said before; he has an in-house sound to his pedals. Personally, I love that sound, but I can see some people not digging it.Pepe wrote:Thanks for the demo! It has the typical Seppuku-WTF-sound - really cool.

The button on the left is just a dry+wet or just wet, like on the Kassette. The one on the right changes the characteristics of the modulation, as far as I can tell. To me it sounds like the pitch goes slightly up or down depending on whether it's activated or not. Trebleish vs bassy tail. I'm no good at describing soundsBellyheart wrote:Any idea what specifically the buttons are doing? Can't really tell from the demo, although, I hear something.
