That album was great. I like the two before it more but hell all their stuff was great. that was a band that should've continued on.

Yeah, it was a pretty sweet record.
Definitely picks me up when m feeling ordinary.

And, kind of makes me feel a bit tougher than I actually am.
One might even say, ornery.

Leeches. I hope it's not a local thing with GC and that the corporate is pushing a more supportive attitude towards local musicians. Let's face it, in a lot of places they killed the mom and pop thing. We have some excellent places here, but I know a lot of people don't have those options. It's be a decent thing if at least one corporate monster figured out how to be cool to people.

JCM800 2203. FUCKING GO GET THAT!
We actually had a convesation about Takata taonz tonight in which I realized that I own a Verellen JCM800 2203 clone, and a Peavey Butcher JCM 800 whatever clone. He Just went and married a JCM 800 2203. And it sounds godly. So good.

Yammy SG. C'mon guys, sick! I was looking at it for about 20 minute trying to think of a way to use it. In the end, It has 6 less strings than I need, but DAMN, thats going to be a fucking stellar guit. Locking tuners are the shit once you jell with them. don't be scared.

Yeah. Expect to be prolapsed.

Ax: big chains really did kill mum and dad shops down here, but that was years ago. Before we reached parity with the US dollar, a few tears back now, it was really just too hard for smaller operators to compete with the buying power of the big boys when it came to sale prices and discounts. But that's the same as everything on this crooked little island.

Beasy fo sheezy, this is a good decision. :doom:

Pope, that sounds just like the U.S. On the upside, the independent stores that have survived tend to be epic. We have Guitar Maniacs here in Tacoma and it's run by grumpy old men. Not really novice friendly haha. They have some amazing shit in there and won't even bother with anything that isn't vintage unobtanium.
But I've been in there and talked with other customers who had driven for 3 hours to get there. Wonder how many guitar centers they drove past.

Yeah, guys like Tym have managed to survive by offering stock for kooks and doing custom builds. For the most part it falls to the franchisee to either give two fucks about its customer base or go corporate model. The big chains down here are really lazy through, and tend to hire upstart cunts who think their pro-musos and hire all their upstart cunt friends so they can perpetually trade blow jobs instead of serving people.
Plus, once they'd taken over, the discounts dried up and we were back to being overcharged, despite being above parity dollar-wise.
Prices aren't too bad these days, but fuck retail has become a bleak, Orwellian nightmare of the breakdown in human socialization.
2020, motherfuckers. 2020.
