It's because you guys are too busy getting stoned and eating tulips dipped in appelmoes inside windmills all day.

My guess is the stoned thing is for the not so boring people to fit in with the boring ones because they start to do nothing maybe, I don't smoke anything though.
You forgot the wooden shoes by the way, funny thing is the only time I saw those was in a tourist shop, I've never actually seen anyone wearing them.

Please don't cry, I like you guys. One thing I have observed is everyone is racist to everyone else. Human nature sucks. :picard:

No worries, I was crying over being Dutch actually, mediocracy is probably the harshest thing I can say about anyone because it's quite probably the only one thing I truly hate and can't stand in people.
True that racist thing indeed, I try not to let it catch me and if it does I try to shake it off quickly but it does happen once every while.
Lol at the Moffen by the way!

No clue about what some of us call the German, the word "moffen" comes to mind but I wouldn't know what the hell it means, it's some sort of hateful term from the war I guess.

As Basil Fawlty says, Don't mention the war.
I think it's just a Dutch word for German. Don't think there is any bad meaning to it. But don't quote me on it. :idk:

I'm pretty sure it's used in a pejorative way. But I'm fine with anything more imaginative than Nazis. :D
Somehow Moffen makes me think of old house slippers.

...

(I looked it up now, it means something like stale smelling and is in use since the 16th century. The lexicon of the Brothers Grimm already lists it.)

Yeah, was thinking about something similar too, some kind of sleeve or something, I remember the word "mof" has that meaning in Dutch.

The Germans have extended our vocabulary quite a bit in the last couple of centuries: Boche, Chleuh, Fritz, Frisé, Fridolin... And these are only the ones my Grandpa told me, there's probably a whole lot more! He also has this expression "c'est toujours ça que les boches auront pas!" that could be loosely translated as "that something the Germans won't take from us!" which is a reference to the Alsace and the Lorraine I guess. His dad served in the WW1 so that could be the reason.
The Dutch on the other hand are so boring we didn't even bother to look for one. We probably have enough with them Belgians who think fries are cooked in beef grease and not oil. Troglodytes.

True hey, the Dutch are as boring as the most boring fuck in the world aren't they?
French Fries suck in my opinion though, I'd much rather have the Belgian ones (as long as they don't come with the Belgian mayonaise that is, yuck at that greasy sour stuff) but then again as a Southern Dutchman I could almost be Belgian, the South of The Netherlands is more fun anyway.
I'm curious though, which French recipes without cheese and without intestines / organ meat would you say are amongst the top creations in French cuisine?

Seems good (apart from the French Fries that is) though I'd consider most of those dishes to be Mediterranean as there's variations on those themes in lots of cuisines around those parts.
I do make Ratatouille (my mother used to make something similar which she called Lekker Lui), Piperade (Spanish Egg) and Aubergine Creme (Melitzanosalata) sometimes and really enjoy it, I'd be interested in trying some more typical French recipes (without cheese and/or intestines).

Kangaroo steak is awesome. Needs to be coked rare though. Gets so dry if you over cook it. I used to eat it a lot but then I found out how the industry worked. They are very sketchy so I wont eat it now.
