Kinda thinking about this. I want a Bass VI. I think I like the Squier version better but I do like this shape. I feel like mod-wise though the Squier makes more sense. Probably a lot of fuckery to get parts setup. Lots of nightmares about bridge changes, etc.

Still cheaper than the SQ
Bass VI scale length
Easier to find parts to match Agile dimensions than SX (although that's not that hard, afaik)
all around better build than the SX

Cons:
More than the SX, and not the same shape.

That's a higher powered version of the great sounding solid state Lead 12 combo with a bigger cabinet and better speaker. (I'm pretty sue the 12 and 20 are both built on the same circuit board with the same exact preamp.) Should be very good construction, with a steel chassis with welded corners and a plywood cab. Working condition even with beat-up tolex, as described, this is a steal at $50. If I didn't already have my 12, I would consider a drive up for this one.

I was looking at one of those a while back as a potential stereo power amp and speaker setup for a Boogie preamp I have. I forget who it was, but one of our ILF-ers had reported very positively on his formative use of one. At that price, I would hit that if local.

If anyone gets one here, please do your fuzzy DIY buds a solid by letting us see the circuit boards and take a few voltage measurements at some point. I haven't found that anyone has traced one of these yet and it's hen's tooth rare.
