I'm a fan. The cardiac theme with the blinking red light is just too good. Easily my favorite graphic on any of the pedals I have.t-rey wrote:I've always loved the cardiac cosmichorus

Even though I spammed some pedalboard threads a couple weeks back, figure I'll toss my board in here too.
I've got me some serious Dr.S love right through the chain!
The big new edition is the one-off, top-mounted, Very Special Twosome that I gassed for ever since I learned about it two years ago. The top-mounted goodness fits right in with all my Dr.S pedals.
Now if only Empress would make a top-mounted phaser!

Haha thanks. The layout isn't a good indicator of the signal path, the Frazz runs into the other fuzzes, comp and Pog before getting back into the Elements. But it felt like they needed to be together.Clean Channel wrote:Yeah, Bassplayerjosh, wicked board! That entire row of Dr.S is totally the way I roll.

Mother. Of. God. I wouldn't change a single thing about that board.Clean Channel wrote:Even though I spammed some pedalboard threads a couple weeks back, figure I'll toss my board in here too.

Thanks man. Yeah, I don't wanna change anything either! For tonight I was all over that Frazz Dazzler.t-rey wrote:Mother. Of. God. I wouldn't change a single thing about that board.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: everyone in the world should have a Frazz Dazzler.

Freakin' amazing. Those Dr.S pedals just belong together! Yes, you must get a Cosmichorus. And, happy birthday!
A little off topic, but tell me about your experiences with the Geiger Counter. I've been wanting one for ages, and finally have one being delivered... today! How do you use it? How much do you love it?

Give the Geiger Counter some time, it can do so many cool, and not so cool, things depending on what you like. I use it for Lo-Fi sounds, scratchy recording stuff, and some very heavy distortion. The WMD site has lots of good starting points for settings. I really like the thing. Thanks for the birthday wish!

You can whore this board out all you want dude. I never get tired of admiring this masterpiece. What amp has the pleasure of amplifying all that sweetness?Clean Channel wrote:Even though I spammed some pedalboard threads a couple weeks back, figure I'll toss my board in here too.

Thanks guys!
Yeah, I'm guilty of slapping that hotness on probably one too many pedalboard threads. I'm glad you're on board Gonzales!
My main amp is a 1996 Matchless Chieftain 1x12 that I scored for an unbelievable price used a few years back. The seller was in Ottawa Canada (is a regular on the Guitars Canada forum), and flat out would not ship the amp, no matter how much some of the US buyers offered. We made arrangements to meet, and he gave me a killer deal. Still madly in love with that amp. Pic below... I also have a few other amps, a champ clone, another 2x6v6 one-off, and an old Canadian amp I inherited.
And the Empress Phaser is totally worth trying. I went through a bunch of really great phasers (the Whetstone and Retro Sonic being a couple of my favs) before ending with the Empress. Truth be told I don't use a lot of the secondary functions very often (envelope stuff), despite it all working really well. I just love the straight up tone and versatility of it. I just wish they'd make a top mounted version!

It's an odd one, appears to be from Guelph in the 1960s. Apparently made by the same folks who were doing the Traynor etc stuff at the time. Called the Aztech Aerco 360. Can't find hardly any info on it!Sparrow wrote:i would love to try a Chieftain one of these days!
