I just watched Fire Walk With Me for the first time.

Meh.

I thought it was good. Its been a while since I've seen it though, I'll have to rewatch it.

I just felt it didn't do very much.
I didn't learn anything about Laura Palmer that I didn't already know, basically.
Dale Cooper's fate wasn't clarified any further than I had already inferred.

Also, the murder of Teresa Banks was weird.
Like, it was supposed to have something to do with BOB and all that.
But she was only killed because she started blackmailing Leland.
Leland killed her, not BOB.
So really, it's kind of unconnected to Laura's murder.
At least, that's kinda how I feel about it.

I dunno, it was an enjoyable film but I feel like it just kind of durdled around that universe rather than explore it.

There is a scene were Annie appears to Laura in Laura's bed. Annie is bloodied and says the "Good Dale Cooper is.." wither stuck or trapped on the black lodge.

I think you may not have learned more about Laura in terms of new information, but you see what she was going through prior to her death, and that explains/sets up for everything to come. I thought that was good, though her acting is alright when it comes to playing Laura.

Are you sure Teresa Banks was blacking mailing Leland? I didn't get that in the film. Just looked at it again and didn't see that happening. It seems like he was just sleeping with her and then he/ BOB, wanted to kill her. There is a part where he says "you look like my Laura"

And BOB (as Leland) leaves a T under her nail.

Laura says about BOB (before she realizes its her father) that he has been coming into her room ever since she was 12. So Bob in Leland may have been there, abusing her, and then Teresa was Bob's first kill, acting through Leland.
