Occasionally, when I notice that they look a bit grim. Even then, it's just a quick going over with a duster.

Sometimes when I borrow pedals from my brother I clean them, but that's because the space where he plays is affectionately known as "dust city"

The main problem I have with my pedalboard is dog hair getting in the velcro to be honest.

God I'm glad I'm not alone in this. I thought I was just weird. :)

Microfiber cloth when they look ill...

They sound better when they're clean, that's why NPD's are always so epic...

I don't think about it unless I'm sending one out.

The most cleaning I do is a quick wipe down with a rag.

Same. I'll give my board a wipe down with a paper towel every few months, but that's about it :idk:

Yeah I usually get anal and clean gear real OCC like when I first get it. Every couple of months or so I will go apeshit and clean all my gear.
But usually I just occaisionally give my board a wipe down with a chux if there's one handy, sometimes with a little windex if it's getting gross.

I do feel better having clean gear, but I probably care more about my guitar with that. Pick dust under the strings. No thank you.

If selling I try to remember to give the pedal a once over with kitchen surface spray cleaner so it's like, actually clean. If it's my pedals unless they're coated in dust and filthy I don't care too much but I might wipe it, if they're actually like, dirt grimey then yeah i'll clean it off the next time I have to pick it up.

I have gotten some skanky ass pedals though when buying... mystery stickyness is never good, those get cleaned good and the pube covered velcro goes in the bin.

My guitars i'll let get dirty as fuck though, but that's different.

Clean? Pedals? They're ultimately tools, regardless of how pretty they are. Let nature take its course, yo.

I clean second-hand pedals pretty thoroughly when I first receive them and dust my pedalboard every so often. I'm generally less repulsed by my own filth.

I keep em clean. No sense letting dust, sweat etc build up and eventually contribute to sticky pots or other mechanical issues.

And OCD.
