Mr. Belor, that looks really swank. What sort of ply did you use again? And any deets on where you picked it up?
I'm thinking once I get ahead cash wise, I'm either gonna get those Sheffields in a 212 or go for broke and make a 412, so I wanna get my options sussed now.
I really wanna catch up on my already way too delayed projects.
You guys are great inspiration. :thumb:

glad we can inspire.

also why didn't you do both at the same time? That's how I roll with them because if I'm staining one I want to stain both at the same time, same with anything else.

I only had speakers for the first one this week, so the other cab is built I just have to stain and load next week - WGS v30 equivalents are going in it.
Pretty excited about it actually!

that still doesn't make much sense to me. just because you don't have all the speakers in shouldn't keep you from staining both at the same time. it's just a great time saver unless you don't have the space.

They weren't built at the exact same time, so when I stained the first one, the second cab was still having the faceplate glued and clamped.
I hope that makes sense haha

Yea I get what you are saying, I'm asking why didn't you wait till you had both where they are to be stained since you were in production with both at roughly the same time.... I mean it makes perfect sense to me to if I'm a few days behind on one of the 2 cabs just to wait till I finish the second one and do both at the same time because well it's more efficient.

I'm not really concerned with efficiency / time due to this being more of a casual build - when building for others it's much more straight forward.
But I've got a business to run at the same time, so I can't just take a few days off to build some cabs and everything is sweet haha

I can't either and have a full time job, commissioned paintings and album art to draw... which is why efficiency is a bigger factor to maximize the time that is spent on it. Sorry if it seems like I'm railing you on it, but no answer just made any sense to me. Sorry.

wildebelor why the fuck don't you get with the program. We are counting on you and lives are at fucking stake here. quit your job, ditch your woman, shoot your dog and cut your dick off. Then go stain your motherfucking cabs like a real man, two at a time.

hahahahahaha
It's also that I was eager to play one of them and that I had a set of vintage 30s laying around too…
I have to say, I did not expect so much bass to come out of this beast. I've never heard vintage 30s sound so good!
