I'm from Chicago! Well, the burbs anyway. I lived there from when I was born in 1978 until July 2001.

Grew up in Palos Heights, moved to New Lenox in 5th grade, moved to DeKalb/Sycamore when I was 17 to live with my now-wife, moved down here to Savannah when I was 22.

Things I miss:

- Aurelio's Pizza
- Pop's Italian Beef
- Gyros
- Garrett Popcorn
- Easy access to Dunkin Donuts
- Taking the train
- A friend or two
- Major market TV and radio
- Big-name concerts

Things I don't really miss:

- Snow
- Scraping the ice off my windshield
- High taxes
- High cost of living
- Hour long commutes down 88 into the Hillside Strangler
- A good chunk of my family
- Did I mention snow?
