Hey, I almost got kidnapped too! When I lived in Arizona, a friend and I were walking along a busy street and a guy in a truck pulled up and said "get in!" And I just said "no thanks!" And he told me my dad sent him, and I didn't believe him so I started running, but of course he was driving, so he could catch up, so I ran the other way. He yelled "God DAMN IT!" and took off.

When I got back to my dad's shop I asked if he had sent someone, and he said no. Then he bought me a huge dinner and a new videogame in celebration of me not getting kidnapped.

Also not paranormal.

However, I dated a girl for a while that lived in an old house downtown. Her uncle used to wake up with tiny scratches all over him, and her grandmother said when she was walking to the car once, a pale man dressed in black with black eyes grabbed her wrist and wouldnt let go. She said his hands were so cold it hurt, and it left bruises on her wrist.

Either that, or she was just nuts and made it up, and gave herself bruises to look like it was true. No telling. She was extremely Christian so I don't know that she would have made it up.

When I was 13 we went on holiday to Western Australia. While in a park in Fremantle, I sat on a park bench to relax and just take in some sun. This really creepy dude sat down and started talking to me. He had a very strange face, one I will never forget. He also gave off a cold and nasty vibe while trying to come across as friendly. Even offered me a minty. That was the point where I bailed. But I never forgot his face. Several years later was watching a TV program about Australian killers. One story sent shivers up my spine, when they showed the killer. It was the guy I saw in that park in Fremantle. The guys name was David Birnie. He and his wife would abduct people, keep them hostage as sex slaves for a few days then take them out to the bush, murder them and bury them in a shallow grave. The dude was that perverted he even buttfucked his own brother.

Love this stuff. Here's a link to page where a bunch of of people have listed their experiences/ thoughts on the (not-really-so-secret) Secret Sidewalk of Niles Canyon in Fremont California, just about a mile from where I grew up. Basically kids just treat as a place to party and get away because it's not really practical for the cops to go out there. It's also got a fairly large homeless population.

Because of the bizarre atmosphere and it's use as a sort of hideout it has become sort of pole that attracts all sorts of strange stories, not the least of which is the White Witch of Niles Canyon.

The story is so cookie cutter that I think it must be fake. Basically it's: Young girl dressed in white gets killed in an accident on [insert super-special night]. Now people pick up young hitchhiking girl dressed in white who ask to be driven to San Francisco. She disappears from the car before said good samaritans make it to [insert-one-of-many-bridges].

I guess Mulder would say: "But couldn't the fact that the story follows such a familiar pattern be indicative of a truth about the mechanism by which paranormal events occur" or something like that.

Well since we're sharing personal experiences....

I'm about 99% sure my house is haunted. And whatever is here may not be good.

Me and my family moved here back in 2009, and at first it was really nice. It was the first house we had owned after renting since I was little. I got my own room with T. v. In it and energy thing. It was the shit.

For the first couple of years nothing strange happened, but for some reason there was this lingering feeling of not being alone whenever I was home alone. I didn't really think anything of it until I started spending more time out of my house and I was able to notice the difference. Also over this period of time, my parents became unruly towards each other, fighting and at each others throats every day unlike anything is seen from them before.

Then recently I began to see the woman.

It started out as just glimpses, bumps in the night, creaks and footsteps followed by something appearing out of the corner of my eye. These apparitions became more and more frequent, up to the point where recently while house sitting I stayed out in the front of the house with my dogs and never turned off the lights cause we all were seeing and hearing things nightly. Whispers, knocks and disembodied foot steps at all hours of the night, scaring even my cats out into the safety of the living room.

But there was one vision that solidified my feelings of not being alone the moment I saw it.

My room is located next door to mine and both are right next to the bathroom, and in order for me to go and do my business I have to walk past there room. Now that wouldn't be so bad if they didn't close the blinds at all hours of the day, plunging their room into an eerie blackness. Now one of these instances I was taking a leak, I exited the bathroom, and nodded to the woman sitting into parents bed.

Wait what.

I only realized what I had seen after I had closed the door to my room. Sitting in my parents bed, dead center meditation style, was the shadowy figure of a woman. Her hair was waving everywhere, as if she were submerged underwater. The most disturbing thing for me was the eyes. They were pure white and glowing.

I didn't leave the room for the rest of the day and ever since the activity has had a sudden spike. I haven't seen her sitting in my parents bed, but I can feel her just as easily. And given the dark nature of her appearance as well as her lingering in my parents bed, I can't help but wonder if she is the cause for their recent hatred towards each other.

Only time will tell.



I swear this is all true, as much as I wish I wasn't living in a haunted house and I was making this up, that isn't the case. Everything I've told you really happens and sill happens fairly frequently.
