Mac users: Alternative "Mail" App to the OSX one

Tired of Mail app on my Mac: doesn't sync that well and will often re-push emails I've already read or are old and show them as new mail - so I have to scroll up to find those emails.

What alternative app are you using?

I do use the app on my iPad and phone, but on my laptop I just use the browser version.

I'm not running an app either. I shut off Mail not too long after I got my laptop. I just keep Gmail and Hotmail as Popular Bookmarks.

Mail was kinda hinky in the early builds of Mavericks, especially if you were a heavy gmail user. IIRC, there were a couple of quick fixes out there.

Mailbox went public beta this week - might want to get on the list.

When Mavericks killed mail, I just switched to using gmail in a browser and haven't looked back.

We also use gmail in a browser. We have several inboxes, etc, so I like having a tab for each. Mail has never worked well for us.

It's just so much nicer than mail.
