First world problems:
Old laptop crashes and now i have to use my girl's computer to put music on and off. However, when I plug it into iTunes the songs that are still on it don't pop up. I can add songs but can't delete songs from it. Also, deleting songs from the phone itself doesn't actually delete the songs. Just disappears from the phone. Any help removing these songs would be appreciated.

I'm going to be of no help. Apple has royally fucked it's iphone/itunes compatibility recently. My wife has had major headaches trying to do this kind of shit. Even deleting an album off her phone is a pain in the ass. I don't know if it actually worked, but you have to go track by track on the phone itself, as opposed to on the itunes.
Android still can't manage a fucking compilation (ie hiding the artists so you're not bombarded with dozens of single track artists when you browse through your library) but at least file management is fantastic.
