tube amp wattage super reverb question
Ok so I got a 500 watt converter for the car to play my super reverb through the car battery. The super is 40 watt output and 180 input or something but the converter through the 12v cigarette lighter I can only use 100 watt. and 500 watt directly through the battery. SO my question is if I only play the volume at 2 or 3 in the car will it exeed the 100 watts or does the wattage stay the same no matter the volume.
