Calling Nashville ILF'ers!
So I'm in Nashville for a few days again, and was wondering if there are any places/things that are a must (Cool food/shops/fun stuff/etc). I'll be going to the east side for a bit today, but I'm staying right by Vanderbilt.

Where ya staying and how long you here for?
Got a car? Go to Grimey's for records (on 8th ave), check out Carter Vintage Guitars for really cool gear, Hattie B's for Nashville delicacy hot chicken (that's walkable or go to Prince's if you want the original, but that's a haul from us), have a beer at Yazoo or Flying Saucer or Hops & Crafts (all near Vanderbilt) or Craft Brewed. It's also Craft Beer Week right now so there's some fun events going on in the city.

Also let me know what kind of food/price range you're looking for, I'll come up with a few restaurants to check out.

Re: Calling Nashville ILF'ers!
Thanks for the recs man! I wasn't able to get on ILF for some reason, so I couldn't check this thread. My dad (who I'm visiting), has a friend that does the LYFT thing, and she mentioned/took me around to a lot of the places you said, and many more. I got to test out a TON of pedals, including the newer EQD stuff. Unfortunately, I didn't like anything I tried...but I always feel weird testing stuff without my usual setup and nothing sounds right.

Absolutely! That's one thing I didn't end up getting and regret it (Hattie B's). I will be back around the same time next year, if not before. I'm really considering moving back to TN.pelliott wrote:Let me know if you're back in town again -- would love to grab a beer/some hot chicken

yeah, they still are! I talked to them about stopping by and trying/buying some stuff but it'll have to be next time. Gotta leave early in the morning to make it back home before work.

Re: Calling Nashville ILF'ers!
Rather than start a new thread, I'll just put this here.
I've lived in the area for over a year and has no luck getting a project going. Seems like everyone else in their early 30s isn't doing anything original or is already deeply involved in projects.
Any ideas or leads?
