You definitely did. And there are basically two ways of approaching the FH. a.) Just turn knobs and flip switches and try to make as much noise as possible, or b.) actually try to get it to make recognizable flanger/phaser sounds. a is a total blast, and the pedal is worth it just for that. But if you want to do b, then I highly recommend you read this page:

In other news, had a great gig last night. The place was so packed that the audience crowded around us really closely, so much so that I had to be really careful not to smack people with the headstock of my bass. It was intense.

Also, I went to guitar center yesterday to pick up a couple cables, and got to play the Squier Bass VI. Jesus tap-dancing christ, I want one now. It was so fucking much fun.

Good to hear!!! I thought I had remembered you having one. The price was stupid cheap too, so worth the risk. I fucking love flangers, chorus and phasers. UGH.


I bought a Squire Jazz not that long ago and it sounds fucking great dude! I kind of wish it would stay set up better, but I think if I upgrade the tuner keys, and maybe the bridge, it will be literally the perfect bass for 200 bucks. It sounds every bit as good as their expensive models.

I know you're talking about a baritone, but still. Good shit.
