Once upon a time I used to use the internet for non-ILF stuff but I seriously had no idea what to look up/read/interact with when ILF was down. I ended up aimlessly reading articles at wired.com. Also tried checking out a Swedish gear forum but the only threads there were like "Hej. Have you tried this new overdrive? It looks nice". Then three days later some guy replies "no, but it looks nice". Three days later dude nr 3 chimes in with "yeah, looks nice".
It wasn't necessarily as fun as ILF.

Well at first I kept just making new tabs and trying to get onto ILF. Like I figured it was down, but would subconciously just try to go to the ILF page.
Then I hung out a little on the D*A*M forum. But after a while I just got really focused and got off the internet

i turnrd what seemingly could have been quick/easy
into browsing every deck/wheel in 6 different sites
ccs,tactics,skatewarehouse,warehouseskateboards,blackboxdist.
and socalskateshop(winner)
theres a park round the block from my house
realized i havent had a deck since i moved up here
since i was 9 ive never not had one by the door
so yeah
i just looked at shit and bought shit
whats new
didnt make any ILSK8 friends though
i still hate forums
just somethin bout you guys

Played with my BitQuest and Buzzz, tried Talkbass, remembered why I dont really get on there anymore. Read some Cracked lists. Refreshed ILF 200 times.
