I work as a development engineer. Mostly for devices in the medical field. But we have a few other projects too. Normally I am responsible for electronics and stuff, but as the job requires I make mechanical/hydraulic designs too. It never gets boring.

I'm a graphic designer - after 13 years of freelance, I started an in-house gig at a national natural & specialty foods distribution company this January. So far, it's been great - I like my coworkers, my boss is cool, and it's so nice to have steady hours with a regular workflow. And not having to do the biz dev hustle (which I suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked at) is amazing.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

Right now I'm a researcher at a lab that's studying algae as a biofuel source; I'm also trying to get into a PhD program.

Thanks! I'm cautiously optimistic but if this doesn't work out I've got other places lined up.

I'm a software engineer. If I could do it all over again I probably wouldn't be.
