Nice kits guys!

Amazon failed me... I ordered a nice Pearl snare stand S1030. Box arrives. In that box is the Pearl snare stand box marked, S-1030. Great! Opened it up, looks like I am missing a logo... wait, where is the Gyro Tilter thingy? Wait a second..?? WTF.. Switch-a-Roo!! It's hang tag says S-930!! BULLCRAP!! THAT's BULLCRAP said my inner Kartman. Yeah sure, go ahead and replace the ordered item with something that's about half as much money. Who will care or notice? Umm, hello?... Yeah, I will you thirty watt bulb!

I am not sure if that's technically a doom room problem or not.. lol. sounds like it's just my issue.

Did you get it from Amazon or an amazon seller? They've been very awesome with me when we had an issue with the wifes kindle. Not so sure about how dealing with a seller would be. I'd imagine amazon would want them to fix shit in a legit way or loose their ability to sell through them.

It was though Amazon. They are sending out a replacement, but its just a hassle for me. I am never here when UPS comes a knocking. That means I have to go and pick it up at their place for the most part. Another reason I would like to own a home I suppose. : )

HEY! is this site acting all goofy for everyone else? Yesterday, it said that the site had been suspended. And today, it won't load half the time when I navigate. Hrrrrm?

Doesn't always keep you from having to go pick it up from the hub. To me it isn't too much of an issue, the UPS guy usually comes by my house pretty late like around 5-7 and on those days I can make it home cause I get off work at 3:30. A few times he has left stuff around the side of my house instead of the front door since I'm on a main drag in the area. But if it's something I have to sign for and no one is home the hub is literally 5mins from my house. Just sucks I have to wait till 8 to go pick it up.

Got the snare stand situation sorted. For now I am keeping the cheaper stand only because I got it half off. It's actually the nicest snare stand that I have. Not the one I wanted, but still damn nice. I am excited that I get to play my drums again tomorrow, AND A SHOW TOO!!! WOOT!! I might have to fix a situation I am having in our practice room. The practice room has some pretty thick carpet. And to protect John's carpet, and because I always use it, I have my drum carpet over that carpet. What happens is that my virgin bass drum starts hopping up and down and eventually works itself free from the clutches of the bass pedal.

I think I will figure out a way to stabilize the bass drum by adding an office chair mat or something to keep minimize all the extra cushion play from the dual carpets. Then I might get a thinner office entry way mat with the rubberized backing for my drum mat. Ugh.. what a pain in the azz...
