Not trying to be an asshole but did you email him? He got back to me CRAZY fast when I wanted to ask him about some of his stuff. It's on the Seppuku website
Great business with::: space6oy, SpaceFlunky, iamthesnow, DannDubbleEwe, leaves turn, Jero, Gigahearts_FX, PumpkinPieces, sergiomunoz74
He doesn't respond to emails. Unfortunately he recently broke up with his boyfriend or girlfriend which has left him too sad to conduct his business. I finally got my pedals last week which I ordered on 3/31 - pedals which he originally quoted a 1 week turnaround on. When he finally did mail my pedals, he didn't even let me know, and I sent him several emails asking for updates while they were in transit which he never responded to. You would think he would say "hey man, I sent this out the other day" but nope. Below is the email he sent all his customers with pending orders the other day (which I might add he sent to all users without hiding our email address so that we all now know other customers names and email addresses - very professional). Additionally, he gave another excuse after a few weeks that I ordered the pedal that he was too busy with some business dealings to work on pedals or respond to emails. Who knows if that was true or not, but we now have at least 2 episodes of things interfering with his ability to run a business.
In fairness, he did upgrade my order to one of his newer pedals that isn't released yet for free, so I definitely appreciate that. But, his communication skills and general business prowess is pathetic.
By contrast, for a comparative example, last night at 9:07 PM I emailed a flute maker about one of his flutes. He emailed me back at 9:50 PM. I then asked a follow up question at 10:26 PM, and he responded at 12:11 am. While I certainly don't expect everyone to respond to emails this quickly, this certainly shows a difference in customer service and the desire to run a business.
In summary, I recommend you don't give this guy any of your money until he sorts out his love life and learns how run a business properly because there is no telling when or if you will get what you pay for. It is a shame because the pedals I received are awesome and I would definitely like to buy more. And supposedly he has some new pedals coming. I would try to buy from a dealer if you can as opposed to direct if you really want one of his pedals right now.

hello friends, my honest apologies if you've sent email to me in the past couple of weeks and have not received a reply. I really appreciate all of you who've supported seppuku fx and it is only because of personal troubles that I've neglected you.
I've recently separated from my wonderful partner of 5 years..
Its been a rough time and commitments to uni work has taken up any energy and time I've had to give. I've been too sad and unpredictable to get back into actual work. but I gave the workbenches a good clean out today and will be starting to sort the business side out tomorrow.
I will be replying to all the mail that has stacked up asap but I feel like I should post this first because it may take a few days to catch up on everything.
best to you all! i’ll be in touch with you soon and i'll probably be posting updates and some new toys on the website blog over the next few weeks.
Peace - rhys
It's a shame that he's gotten overwhelmed like that - I bought a Sub-Octave Synth 2nd hand a while ago, Emailed him about a noisy circuit, and he offered to swap it out for the newest one for the price of posted. The whole thing took about a fortnight, and when you consider I'm in the UK and he's in Australia, that's pretty impressive.
I can totally understand that stuff like this can emotionally blindside you, but I guess it's one of the risks you take when you're your own employer.
I hope he gets back on track soon, Rhys is properly innovative with his stuff in a weird way I've not seen from anyone else.
e-mail him via his website. Despite what Ugly Nora says above, he does, in fact respond to emails. I was looking for info about the Analog Resynth (which does look awesome) and I emailed him right before he sent out the apology notice that Nora quoted above. He didn't respond to that first email, so I emailed him again, and he got right back to me. This was a couple weeks ago. So, email him via his website, and if you don't get a response, email him one more time.

This is, without exaggeration, a Sex Panther post.
I have emailed him a few times hoping to get a hold of him but I've been sending him emails via his gmail account. So I guess I will give the website email a try. I've been saving money to spend on a Memory Loss as well as others! He updates his website layout a lot too so I'm never sure if he's building anything or not. His pedals are freaking great. He has a great line up of stuff not really thought of before.
