Yeah, I've got a POG2 and love it, but again, too big for the space I've got and too many other features I'd rather be using. Hmmmmm...

I dunno if these Slow Gear type pedals will work for you, if you're using drones (there's no attack to modify, with a drone) unless you are turning the drone on and off more than once. Once the drone is running, the Slow Gear pedals don't do anything (except maybe taper your release). Wouldn't a sequencer do that too, and maybe be more powerful for other uses too?

I think all of the pedals mentioned would have a max swell time of around a second or less.

Yup, I'm getting that sense too. I may be barking up the wrong tree here. Ah well.

What's the max time on the tremolessence? Maybe the slowest setting, sine wave, with the ramp up function?

question

One thing I don't like about a lot of the "slow gear" type swell FX(which are basically modified noise gates)
is no pluck detection.
ideally - you'd look at the transients and reset the swell on pluck (a big tansient spike)
I'm not sure if you can link the Rocktron prophesy up to a swell
