Very cool, HUGE throw on it, great sound. Although there's no battery door and you have to jimmy the bottom plate off with a flathead screwdriver… Never knew that about Colorsound wahs.
Sweet score, I really like the reissue I have (which does have a battery drawer)

This was considerably cheaper than the reissue, but I can see how paying the extra cashola would be worth it just for a battery door (also, Stu Castledine's work is amazing). There's no clip in mine either, so the battery just kind of rolls around in there. Wah sounds GREAT though.

That's an awesome way to fill that void. In a two year period I estimated about $60.000 I saved by "acquiring" stuff from Safeway not to mention some of the goodies I scored from Billy Hyde's music store. Mmm maybe that's how Billy Hyde's went bankrupt. Those big greedy corporations are fair game though. And you just cant beat those pocket prices.
About the usb interface. M-AUDIO make some good interfaces at good prices if you don't need a lot of inputs into the computer.
I would probably only need one or two. I have a 1/4 inch mic and my stringed instruments so I doubt I would need more than 2 at a time. Maybe 3 if I had a guitar player present.
